Here's how to use the enhanced extension:

1. Basic Usage:

   • Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the chat interface

   • Type commands starting with "auto" to control the browser

   • Type normal text for regular chat with the AI assistant

2. Available Commands:

   # Navigation & Scrolling
   auto scroll top
   auto scroll bottom
   auto scroll up
   auto scroll down
   
   # Clicking Elements
   auto click login
   auto click submit
   auto click "any button text"
   
   # Form Filling
   auto fill email [e-mail]
   auto fill password yourpassword
   auto fill "field name" "your text"
   
   # Searching
   auto search your search terms

3. Examples in Action:

   • On a login page: auto fill email [e-mail] then auto fill password mypass123 then auto click login

   • On a shopping site: auto search gaming laptop

   • On a long page: auto scroll bottom or auto scroll top

4. Visual Feedback:

   • You'll see a checkmark (✓) with confirmation when commands succeed

   • Error messages will appear if something goes wrong

   • The AI will still chat normally for non-auto commands

5. Tips:

   • Commands are case-insensitive

   • Use quotes for field names or button text containing spaces

   • The extension will try to find elements by text, labels, or placeholders

To try it out:

1. Open any webpage

2. Click the extension icon

3. Try a simple command like auto scroll bottom

4. Try clicking something: auto click menu

5. Try searching: auto search your query

Installation

1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/

2. Search for Autopilot Plus

3. Review, accept terms and install.

Configuration

1. After installing the extension, you'll go immediately into History and Options page

2. Get your own Gemini AI API key, Save and Test

3. You can also create Chat Groups

4. Later you can assign chats to a chat group

5. There is also a chat search option

6. Pin the Autopilot Plus extension

7. Click the gear icon or right-click the extension icon and select "Options" if you want to return to Options or Chat History

Security

• Your API key is stored securely in Chrome's storage system

• Each user has their own isolated chat history

• Each user has their own isolated database

• No data is shared between users

• All processing is done locally except for AI requests to Google's Gemini API

Gemini AI API Key

1. Visit the Google AI Studio (https://makersuite.google.com/app/apikey)

2. Create or sign in to your Google account

3. Create a new API key

4. Copy the API key and paste it into the extension settings
